Order printouts

An order prints three papers: the Order for the carrier you send to a subcontractor, the Confirmation for the client, and a CMR draft filled in from the order. Each is made from the order as it is at that moment, so nothing is typed twice, and each print is noted in the order's history.

Before you start

  • Your organization has the TMS add-on. Open an order and choose Print in the menu next to its next step (the arrow beside the header button).
  • Everyone in the organization can print and download the PDF, viewers included. Saving the order for the carrier into the order's documents needs a role that may change TMS data.
  • Your company's name and address on the papers come from TMS settings, Company and numbering. Remarks for carrier orders come from the client's and the carrier's cards (see TMS clients and carriers).
  • Printing opens a new browser window. Allow pop-ups for Quanty, or the card says "The browser blocked the print window. Allow pop-ups for Quanty and try again."

Saving the same unchanged order again returns the copy already saved; after a change to the order a new copy is saved.

Send the order to the carrier attaches the same sheet as a PDF in the e-mail's language (see Sending orders to drivers and carriers). A very long order may not fit: "The order is too long to print. Shorten the remarks or the list of goods."

The history of prints

Each print is written in the order's history, for example "Printed: CMR draft (PL)", and a PDF download as "Order for the carrier downloaded as PDF (EN)". The same person printing the same paper in the same language within 10 minutes, with the order unchanged, adds no second line.

Good to know

  • Papers are made from the order at the moment you print: correct the order first, then print again.
  • The internal note never appears on any paper.
  • Invoices have their own print menu with languages, copies and duplicates (see TMS invoices and receivables).
  • When the organization is read-only because of an unpaid subscription, printing and PDF downloads still work.
